Ed Jacobsen's Real Estate Journey
Attended the University of Northern Colorado, and studied Business with a specialization in Finance. Completed an Internship with United Bank of Denver. Started a Real Estate career in 1970 in my family’s owned business, Vice President of Rocky Mountain Ranch, a Land Development business licensed in Colorado with a Subdividers License and Registered HUD in Washington DC.
Earned a Residential Real Estate license in 1985 with Century 21 Country Investments. Member of the Million Dollar Club won Top Listing Agent in the Front Range, and became Relocation Director. Started an independent company as co-owner of Metro Brokers Elite Properties.
Earned a Colorado Employing Brokers License in 1997. Became Managing Broker for 24 7 Real Estate with offices in Chicago, Denver, Phoenix, and Las Vegas, specializing in marketing and selling newly built homes for major home builders in our areas.
While always keeping the Real Estate License active, in 2008, I started a home improvement company, Restoration Services, and personally performed work restoring clients' homes and personally “fixed and flipped” 8 residential homes in the Denver area.
In 2014, I joined Madlom Real Estate as a Concierge and real estate agent. Looking for the “perfect” company, I left Madlom to start another new company, Open Door Group, in 2016 before finding the right real estate company for me—LoKation Real Estate, which I joined in 2019 to the present day.
